Artists And Photographers Encouraged To Enter Their Work Into The ‘2013 Big Sky Pro Rodeo Roundup Poster Challenge’

The Big Sky Pro Rodeo Roundup Committee is looking for talented local artists and photographers to submit their work into the 2013 Big Sky Pro Rodeo Roundup Poster Challenge: "Capturing the Art of Rodeo". The winner will have their work displayed as the 2013 official poster artist and receive a $300 cash prize.

Artists and photographers are encouraged to enter work that expresses the excitement and spirit of the Big Sky Pro Rodeo Roundup, a PRCA sanctioned rodeo held Tuesday to Saturday in conjunction with the Montana State Fair. Performances are held at the Montana ExpoPark Grandstand. Each night has a theme and activities to get the audience involved in rodeo. The 2013 Big Sky Pro Rodeo Roundup will be held July 30 - August 3, 2013.

Entries should be at least 16 x 20 in. and ready to be displayed. The entry waiver and artwork must be submitted my March 29, 2013 to the Montana ExpoPark office. On April 5, 2013 all qualifying entries will be displayed for community choice at Gallery 16 during First Friday Art Walk, downtown Great Falls, MT.
