Parker is a professional beatboxer, podcaster, musician, and on-air personality for 104.3 WOW Country! He is a longtime Idahoan who graduated from BYU–Idaho studying communication and digital media advertising. Fun fact, Parker was originally studying to become a nurse, but his whole life changed in 2015 when a video of him beatboxing with a McDonald’s cup went internationally viral. This video took the internet by storm and went on to receive over 1 billion views online – launching Parker in a whole new direction. He quickly switched majors and tried to juggle college, multiple jobs, and traveling the country to deliver powerful speaking engagements and beatbox performances. A few of his favorites were Outrageous Acts of Science, America’s Got Talent, Ridiculousness, The Steve Harvey Show, Shark Tank’s Daymond John, TEDx, and McDonald’s. Though his experiences have taken him all over the country, (including Nashville where he first began to learn about and truly appreciate country music), Parker is now settling down in the Treasure Valley! In his spare time, he enjoys playing with his dog, podcasting, making music, watching Marvel movies, and hanging out with his friends and family! He is so excited to be with you on 104.3 WOW Country and to get to know you as he becomes more and more immersed in this amazing community. Listen to Parker 10am-3pm, Monday-Friday!

Far & Wide recently updated their list of America's Coolest Small Towns by State — and you won’t believe what city they chose for Idaho. Of course, Boise is the coolest city (I’m not biased or anything). But what small town in Idaho is the coolest?
Would You Live in a Giant Potato?
Okay, maybe you wouldn’t live there, but would you have a staycation there? The Big Idaho Potato Hotel in Boise is definitely making a name for itself in the travel space as one of the most unique Airbnb stays in the nation. It is currently listed on Airbnb at just $124/night, however, it’s been as high as $250/night in the past.
