The Big Sky Country State Fair is officially back in Bozeman, bringing five action-packed days of carnival rides, local food favorites, and heavy-hitting entertainment to the Gallatin County Fairgrounds from July 15 to 19.

The nightly concert lineup under the open Montana sky is massive this year. Country star Chase Rice kicks things off on Wednesday, July 15, supported by Preston Cooper and Deerock.

On Thursday, July 16, catch a powerful co-bill featuring Morgan Wade and alt-rockers American Authors. Then, get ready to rock on Friday, July 17, when legends Stone Temple Pilots hit the stage with Local H.

Beyond the music, Saturday, July 18 is jam-packed with crowd favorites, featuring the hard-hitting Ranch Rodeo, the action of Montana Action Paintball, and the high-energy chaos of the Barnyard Brawl. While you're there, make sure to stroll through the barns to see the incredible 4-H attractions, animal exhibits, and youth projects.

When hunger strikes, follow your nose to Food Row, where a variety of incredible vendors, including beloved longtime local favorites, are serving up classic fair treats.

Know Before You Go

Summer days in Bozeman get hot, so remember to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water while out on the midway. To keep the gates moving quickly, keep the fair rules in mind:

  • Bags: Restricted to a maximum size of roughly 1' x 2' (medical supply bags and diaper bags are excluded).
  • Prohibited Items: Pets (except service animals), weapons of any kind (including pocket knives and toy guns), outside alcohol, drugs, smoking, and vaping are strictly prohibited at the fairgrounds.

Grab your sunscreen, bring your appetite, and we’ll see you at the fair! For additional details, visit the Big Sky Country State Fair website.
