You may want to start getting to the airport a little earlier if you're travel plans take you through the Bozeman airport.

The Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport has released statistics showing last month was the busiest July in the airport's history.

The report states that 165,654 people flew in/out of the Bozeman, out-pacing last year's record-setting July by 11.4%.

In addition, these numbers reflect a 42.9% increase over July 2013 and a whopping 92.3% increase over July of 2008.

American Airlines reports a 65% increase in the number of passengers so far in 2018 from 2017 on flights in and out of Bozeman. United Express has nearly doubled traffic from 2017 so far this year with a projected increase of over 90%.

All of this comes as Jet Blue is due to begin offering service to and from Bozeman and Frontier is set to offer year-round service between Bozeman and Denver.
