Bozeman Named Top City for Biking; Bike to Work Week Stops Announced
May is National Bike Month, and if you live in Bozeman, you’re apparently sittin’ pretty.
The website SaveOnEnergy.com named Bozeman one of its top U.S. cities for biking. Bozeman took fourth on the list of medium-sized cities. Also making the list are Corvallis, Oregon (#1), Key West, Florida (#2), Laramie, Wyoming (#3) and Ellensburg, Washington (#5).
Bozeman’s not the only Montana city getting recognition for being bike friendly. Missoula landed the #4 spot on the website’s list of bikable large cities.
More good news: this week is Bike to Work Week in Bozeman, coinciding with the national Bike to Work Week.That means local businesses will be offering perks to people peddling their way around town all this week.
The stops include:
Morning stops, offering complimentary coffee and snacks to cyclists arriving between 7 and 9 a.m.
