If you’re driving through downtown Bozeman this Saturday around lunchtime, you’ll see local residents lining Main Street, raising their voices, and standing up for what they believe in.

Bozeman “No Kings” Protest Set for Main Street This Saturday

From 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. on March 28, Bozeman residents will gather along both sides of Main Street between 3rd Avenue and Broadway as part of the nationwide “No Kings” day of action. The local event is organized by community members through Bozeman Resists.

As with past No Kings events, it will be peaceful, motivating, affirming, and full of hope.

Saturday's gathering will be the third of its kind in downtown Bozeman, and the first of 2026. Attendees are encouraged to visit the Bozeman Resists website and print out one of the available posters to display on Main Street during the event.

The “No Kings” movement itself is part of a nationwide wave of protests on March 28, with events planned across the U.S. focused on democracy, civil liberties, and public accountability.

In Bozeman, people will spread out along the sidewalks, holding signs, chanting, singing, waving at passing cars, and connecting with one another in a shared moment of expression and unity.

At a demonstration in 2025, Bozeman resident and actress Glenn Close joined protesters on Main Street, blending into the crowd as she stood in solidarity with the community.

It's a chance for Bozeman residents to exercise their right to free speech and speak up about the issues impacting their lives, their neighbors, and the current state of America.

Volunteers are needed. If you're able to help, more information is available here.
