Go Green, Save Green: Bozeman Offers Incentives For Water-Saving Upgrades
You might not think about how much water you use when you brush your teeth or take a hot shower after a long week, but you're paying for it.
If you're using old, outdated fixtures and equipment, you're probably paying more for it than necessary. But the City of Bozeman Water Conservation Division offers rebates for qualifying toilets, clothes washers, and showerheads on new construction and existing homes that use city water.
The goal, of course, is to save Bozeman's limited water supply, but the program also saves you money! All qualifying high-efficiency products are third-party tested and approved to bring you not only water and cost savings but also quality and performance.
The rebate amounts can vary and won't exceed the cost of the product, but you just need to purchase and install an approved item before submitting the paperwork online or in the blue rebate dropbox.
The potential savings don't end there. While supplies last, city personnel will exchange your showerhead and offer faucet aerators for FREE; click here to learn more.
If you have an outdoor sprinkler system using city water, you also can take advantage of the free sprinkler system assessments and a rebate program for high-efficiency sprinkler products, drought-tolerant plants, and turfgrass removal. Be sure to look carefully at the outdoor sprinkler applications before starting any project, as there can be some special considerations.
What are you waiting for? Get started today: The sooner your water systems are more efficient, the sooner you can start saving money!
