It's almost time to dress up, go door to door in our super cool Halloween costumes, and ask strangers for candy.  It is a bit ironic that our whole lives we're told, "Don't take candy from strangers," yet we have a day set aside once a year where taking candy from strangers is the whole idea.

Strangeness set aside, some parents are a bit nervous about letting their kiddos go trick or treating, especially if this is going to be their first year going with friends, leaving parents waiting anxiously at home.

Luckily, there are other options for trick or treating, rather than going from door to door. The Downtown Bozeman Partnership will be having their annual "Downtown Trick Or Treating" festivities, where thousands of families and friends gather to get as many pieces of candy as they can. (That is the ultimate goal, right?)

What can you expect during this trick or treating extravaganza?

FUN. Many families look forward to this event every year so they can celebrate with the kids in a safe environment.

LOTS OF CANDY. Businesses will be dressed up, their storefronts will look "spooktacular", and candy will be plentiful.

WHEN DOES THE FUN TAKE PLACE?

Be in costume and ready to go Monday, October 31st, from 4-6 PM. In the past there have been over 4,000 people in attendance.

Don't forget to pack a light jacket, as the temps will most likely be in the mid 50's, if not a bit chillier by the end of the month. We can't wait to see all of the kids dressed up and ready to enjoy the fun that we call Halloween.
