Just over 24 hours after it was announced, one of the most talked-about concerts of the summer took place in Montana's Paradise Valley.
Charley Crockett treated a sold-out crowd to an unforgettable performance at The Old Saloon in Emigrant, Montana, on Wednesday, July 1.
Crockett performed his new album Clovis from front to back, giving fans a rare chance to hear the songs live before the album officially arrives on streaming platforms over the Fourth of July weekend.

The pop-up show was announced at 6:00 p.m. on June 30, and tickets disappeared almost immediately, proving that Crockett has a loyal following in Big Sky Country.

Before Crockett took the stage, singer-songwriter Alicia Blue opened the show. Fans drove through thunderstorms, rain, and lightning on their way to the show, but the weather conveniently cleared up before the music started.
After performing every song from Clovis, Crockett played a few fan favorites, including Lonesome Drifter, Crucified Son, Trinity River, and Lonestar.
Montana has long held a special place in Crockett's heart. In a recent interview on The MOOSE 94.7 in Bozeman, he said,
From the bottom of my heart, I can honestly tell you that I've never loved a place outside of Texas in my whole life the way that I love Montana.
Following his intimate performance in Emigrant, Crockett is heading north for another surprise show in Calgary. For those lucky enough to grab a ticket for the show Wednesday at The Old Saloon, it was a once-in-a-lifetime concert they won't soon forget.
