There have been multiple reports of construction equipment thefts in the Gallatin Valley.

On Wednesday, William Lamdin posted surveillance footage of a pair of thieves stealing a saw off of his front porch. Thanks to his security cameras, he was able to catch the culprits in the act.

"Popped the saw on the porch this morning, made coffee, brushed teeth, and in that timeframe these guys showed up. Saw is a Dewalt with the stand.
Theft occurred at 6:10AM on West Dooley Lane. MY UNEDUCATED GUESS is these guys are contractors working in Big Sky or elsewhere in the valley. To be up and rolling at 6am with a truck bed full of stuff (to me) either means "contractor" or they took River Rock for everything they could find.
If anyone else in the neighborhood (Sibley LN, Jackson LN, Woodman DR, Green Tree DR) had their camera ping a late model Ram on August 14th early in the morning, please let me know. If you got it in color, that could be useful.
This Dodge Ram 1500 is 2009+. If you see one with a bunch of stuff in the bed, please let me know"

Lamdin has since posted an update identifying the vehicle involved in the theft.

According to the update, a Dodge Ram 1500 has been seen trolling the neighborhood and is Maroon in color. He also added that there is a pickup box in the bed against the cab, and the Dodge has Alaska license plates.

If you have any information on the vehicle or identity of the suspects, please contact local law enforcement.
