Death Cab for Cutie + CHVRCHES Announce Joint Tour

Death Cab for Cutie and CHVRCHES have announced a string of co-headlining tour dates.

The Ben Gibbard-fronted indie rockers and Glaswegian synth-pop outfit’s joint tour will commence on June 7 in Cleveland. They will also make stops in Canandaigua, N.Y.; St. Augustine, Fla.; Charleston, S.C.; and Charlotte, N.C. Those concerts have been added to each band’s already packed touring schedules. Death Cab have additional dates with Metric, the Helio Sequence and Pure Bathing Culture and will play this year’s Governors Ball, Bonnaroo, Firefly and Forecastle music festivals. CHVRCHES will also share the stage with Paramore, Shura, the Twilight Sad, Alvvays and Wolf Alice and make appearances at SXSW, Coachella, Governors Ball, Bonnaroo, Firefly and WayHome festivals.

Death Cab for Cutie dropped their most recent full-length, Kintsugi, just about a year ago. CHVRCHES returned with their sophomore effort, Every Open Eye, in September.
