Facebook Buys Gowalla. Now STOP CHECKING ME IN.

My friends have an awful habit of "checking us in"....no matter where the hell we go. Sometimes I prefer my boss doesn't know we're having tequila shots at the R-Bar at 1pm....

However, it was announced today that Facebook is going to acquire the "location sharing" program Gowalla. If you're a smart phone user at all, you're probably an occasional user of Gowalla or it's more popular rival, FourSquare.
