Florence and the Machine have lent a cover of “Stand by Me” to a new Final Fantasy XV trailer.

You can hear frontwoman Florence Welch’s powerful, haunting rendition of the Ben E. King 1961 classic by skipping ahead to the 1:12 mark in the video game’s promo clip up above. Final Fantasy XV is slated for a Sept. 30 release; find more information right here.

“I’ve always seen Final Fantasy as mythical, beautiful and epic,” Welch said in a press release. “‘Stand By Me’ is one of the greatest songs probably of all time and you can’t really improve on it, you just have to make it your own. For me it was just about bringing the song into the world of Florence and the Machine and the world of Final Fantasy."

Florence and the Machine returned with their latest album, How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful, last year. Recently, Welch contributed to Rufus Wainwright’s album of Shakespeare Sonnets Take All My Loves. You can hear an excerpt of their collaboration, “When in Disgrace With Fortune and Men’s Eyes (Sonnet 29),” below. The album is due out April 22 via Deutsche Grammophon.

Welch and company will pick up their tour on May 13 in Miami. Find a complete itinerary at the band’s website.
