Enjoy a free history lesson this Saturday at the Pioneer Museum in downtown Bozeman at 9:30am!

If you’re interested in knowing more about the history and heritage of Gallatin County, then plan on attending a free talk this Saturday, February 4, at the Pioneer Museum of Bozeman.

Museum Director John Russell will give an overview of the area’s past, from Native Americans to some of the more significant events in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

“Whether you’re a newcomer to the area or a life-long resident, I think you’ll find items of interest in this presentation,” says Russell. “The hour long talk will include a look at the men and women who forged the community. Some were model citizens, others were out and out characters.”

The talk begins at 9:30 a.m.
