For the last few years, the world has been a crazy place. Of course, unless you're a hundred and ten, you've never been through a pandemic before, so 99.9 percent of us have been in uncharted territory.

While most of us have adjusted and gone on with our lives, there are still a few exceptions when it comes to the aftermath of COVID. Luckily, one of those exceptions is about to become a thing of the past.

Our friends up north announced yesterday that starting October 1st there will no longer be restrictions when it comes to entering Canada.

According to the Washington Post, this means that people traveling to Canada will no longer be required to do the following:

"show proof of vaccination, get tested, submit health information through an official online site, report symptoms, isolate or quarantine, or wear a mask on planes or trains."

This of course will affect Montana since we are neighbors and share a border. Plus, if you were one of the millions of Americans that didn't get a COVID vaccine, it was darn near impossible to get into the country the last few years.

As someone that has spent a lot of time in Alberta, I, for one, find this as welcomed news.  Places like Waterton Lakes, National Park, Banff, and Jasper are stunning in all seasons and certainly worth checking out if you love to travel. Plus, depending on where you live in Montana, it's just a few hours in the car to get there.

So, let me ask you, now that the restrictions have been removed, will you be traveling to Canada any time soon?
