Local Favorite Takes The Crown For The Most Retro Diner In Montana
I love nostalgia.
There is just something about the "good ole days" that speaks to me. One of the reasons I love Montana so much is because you don't have to travel very far to find some of that good ole day charm.
Growing up, we used to go to a local diner with my Pa Pa (Great Grandfather). He served in both WW1 and WW2, and was there in Normandy on D-Day. I didn't know it at the time, but Pa Pa was a badass, a badass that loved his eggs, bacon, and coffee.

Which Montana Diner was rated the most "retro"?
The truth? There are several to choose from, however, according to the site, the one that represents Montana the best, is found in Bozeman and it's the Western Cafe.
While, it certainly won't come as a shock to many of us, the Western has been part of the Bozeman and Montana landscape for darn near a 100 years. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is exactly would you would expect from a Montana Diner. Although, I will tell you, that it's a popular place. Even though Bozeman is filled with some wonderful breakfast spots, people still line up out the door for The Western Cafe.
