  • Butte, Montana-Ranked 5th on the list is the town of Butte. Butte is a college town, but it's also a town that enjoys a good drink or two. There is a history of a blue-collar tradition, but dumb? I don't see it.
  • Anaconda, Montana-just down the road from the number 5 dumbest town, is the 4th dumbest town, Anaconda. Anaconda is a big part of Montana's history.
  • Whitefish, Montana-This will come as a shock to many, especially since Whitefish is known for its recreation and high-priced real estate. However, they rank 3rd on the list.
  • West Yellowstone, Montana-Sure, this is a town that lives on tourism, but I can't imagine what would make West Yellowstone 2nd on the list.
  • Gardiner, Montana-I'm sorry, but I'm calling BS on this one. Gardiner, the dumbest town in Montana? Yeah, I don't think so. A couple of years ago, Gardiner made the news as the only high school in the state with a 100 percent graduation rate.
