It's easy for rumors to start, especially with all the online platforms that enable lies and trolling.

There is always that ONE page that has people asking about any and all drama they see from parking, to "anyone know why there are cops in the grocery store parking lot". Now, most of this is really not any of our business, unless there is a threat to the public, which is usually announced by a reliable source, not just a noisy neighbor who doesn't have a job.

Recently there was a rumor floating around Flathead and let me tell you, this is one of my favorite most ridiculous rumors I have heard in a while.

How this rumor started is beyond me, but here you go.

RUMOR: A busload of what was stated as "illegal immigrants" was traveling through Flathead and apparently the driver just dropped all the "illegal immigrants" off.

The Flathead Sheriff's Department did the proper thing by investigating these rumors.

TRUTH: The bus traveling in Flathead was actually a bus full of Army National Guard members and they were in the area for training.

I couldn't help but laugh at this. I mean starting a rumor about a busload of illegal immigrants being dropped off with no place to go is a bit extreme. ALSO, I have to wonder how an entire bus would have just slipped through the cracks, but one person was able to figure out this secret plot? Not likely.

I truly believe in the saying "see something, say something", but my goodness this rumor was a bit extreme.

20 License Plates Banned In Montana

This is just a small glimpse at banned license plates in the state of Montana. There are well over 4000 that could be added to this list.

Now why some of these are banned is beyond me. I don't find any of them offensive, that's for sure; the state of Montana has the right to refuse:

"any combination of letters or numbers, or both, that may carry connotations offensive to good taste and decency or which are misleading or a duplication of license plates provided elsewhere."- Montana Motor Vehicle Department

What plates are banned in your state? Hopefully, they are not as picky as Montana.
