Montanans will want to check their freezers to make sure that are safe from the latest recall when it comes to food products, including products from Motor City Pizza Co.

According to multiple reports, different products have been recalled do to using products from California Dairies, Inc. Products from the company have been used in several different items, including a pizza product that is sold in Costco stores across the country.

Champion Foods, LLC is the manufacturer of the specific pizza product in question.

What's being recalled?

The products are being recalled due to the potential for salmonella contamination. If you purchased Motor City Pizza Co. 5 Cheese bread between the months of February of this year and May, the product could be contaminated.

With multiple Costco stores located across Montana, the retailer is a popular choice for locals and travelers alike. As most know, Costco Memberships allow you to enter any Costco in the country. Although Costco isn't the only retailer that made the list for a recall. Another popular retail giant, Walmart is among the stores being recalled as well.

Sell by dates include anything from February 2nd through the end of April.

It should be noted that salmonella poisoning can be fatal and includes symptoms like fever, cramps, and diarrhea that generally happen within hours to a few days after consuming contaminated products.
