Montana is a popular place to visit, and it seems that once folks do visit, Montana becomes a popular place to move to.

Over the last several years, we've seen thousands of folks from all over the country flock to Big Sky Country, which has resulted in some serious headaches for many locals. We've seen the cost of living skyrocket in many Montana towns and unfortunately, it doesn't look like there is much relief in sight.

First off, the truth is Montana is not for everyone. Yes, it's beautiful and is an outdoor paradise. Yes, there are things to do all year long. Having said that, not everything is great in Big Sky Country.  Poverty is real, the weather can be rough, and to be perfectly honest with you, you might not always feel welcome here.
