Only $5.5M For This Montana Property. Hello New Skyrise?
It's really no surprise to anyone here in the area that have been looking at buying a house, renting an apartment or a townhome or even buying a small business, the prices are outrageous.
Recently listed by Realtor.com, you will find a trailer park off of East Griffin Dr. for $5.5 million. Now the big question is will it stay a trailer park? Or will some big company come in and purchase it and try and build high-end condos with skyrocketing prices?

At some point the people at Bozeman have to speak up about this. $5.5 million for a piece of land. Let's be real. The estimated monthly mortgage on this type of loan would be around $35k per month.
Unless it's going to go to some sort of development project that is going to have affordable housing, that's not ready in five years but is ready next year, this doesn't seem like it's going to go the way it should for the people of Bozeman.
But I could be wrong. There are people that are willing to pay. Hence, the reason the prices are high and things are still selling.
We've been watching apartments go up in every single direction from here to Belgrade to Livingston to Gallatin Gateway, and it seems as though those apartments are going to be rented out quickly. Mostly with hopes of the monthly rent being lower than the $3,500's per month, residents are currently paying for a rental with 3 bedrooms.
Who wants to take a bet on what this new $5.5 million listing will bring to Bozeman. My guess is it's probably not affordable housing for you or our neighbors.
