It's a great time to be a Bobcat.

Montana State Football has been on the national stage for several years now. The team has achieved considerable success, including multiple national championship appearances, players getting drafted and playing in the NFL, and yearly awards for both coaches and players.

This success comes with difficulties keeping players in Bozeman.

Many of the players who come to Montana State are talented athletes who fell through the cracks and end up playing at the FCS level.

These athletes develop and display their tremendous skills at the FCS level, which exposes them to elite programs as potential transfers.

That's been the biggest problem with Montana State over the past few years. We have seen multiple All-Americans or studs recruited after the season to power programs like Washington, California, and Michigan State.

These schools can offer money and incentives that Montana State can't match.
