The Bozeman Fire Department needs your help locating a smoker grill that was stolen from firehouse 3 sometime between July 14-16. The Traeger grill was donated to firefighters a few years ago.

Bozeman Fire Department Searching For Stolen Traeger Grill

First, who steals a grill from the fire department? What kind of person would do such a thing? As Bozeman continues to grow, so does the rate of crime. It's sad to see what the city is turning into. Firefighters and first responders put their lives in danger to keep us safe, and stealing from them is not a good way of showing your appreciation.

Here's a description of the Traeger smoker grill that was stolen. It’s all black with a triangular Fire Dept Bozeman sticker on the end of the pellet box. The top smoke shelf has been removed. The grill is large, so it  would have taken at least a couple people to load it up or carry it off.

A report has been filed with the Bozeman Police Department.

Thank you in advance, grilling/smoking firehouse meals is a tradition and a great way for us to unwind and simply support each other in conversation and heckling of meat preparation and smoking techniques to rest the mind and body. Please help bring our Traeger home! We miss you!

said the Bozeman Fire Department in a statement on social media.

If you have any information about the theft, and can help the Bozeman Fire Department get its Traeger back, please call the Bozeman Police Department at (406)-582-2100.
