Jack White and Insane Clown Posse Join Forces to Cover Mozart Song, ‘Leck Mich Im Arsch’ [AUDIO]
This could end up as the oddest musical pairing of 2011 — or at the very least, the oddest song of the year.
Former White Stripes leader Jack White has joined forces with the Insane Clown Posse to produce the rap duo’s new single, ‘Leck Mich Im Arsch,’ a supposed Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart song with a title that translates in English to ‘Lick Me in the Arse.’
The song’s melody and its raunchy title are sung classical music-style in German, while over loud guitars and pounding drums, Insane Clown Posse members Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope contribute what’s been described in a press release as a “poignant lyrical addition in English.”
‘Leck Mich Im Arsch’ is the latest in the Blue series of singles from White’s Third Man Records. The label has also released albums by his bands The White Stripes, The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather, as well as acclaimed full-lengths by early rock ‘n’ roller Wanda Jackson and country legend Loretta Lynn.
The White-produced ICP single is due Sept. 13, but you can listen to it now, below. (Warning: The tune contains some blue language.)
