Jane’s Addiction Announces Two New Shows, And Offers A Priority To People With A Certain Credit Card?
Jane's Addiction is back with a new album, their first in 8 years. "The Great Escape Artist" is due out a week from today (September 27th) and if the first single (Irresistible Force) is any indication, it will be worth the wait. The band is also hitting the road again to promote the new album. Jane's Addiction just announced two big shows at the Ford Ampitheatre in L.A. on October 3rd and 4th and, get this, they're offering first dibs to people with a certain credit card. Hmm...
Offering preferential tickets to people who have the right brand of credit card doesn't seem too rock n' roll, but those with Citi credit cards will have access to presale tickets to these October shows today. Everyone else will have to wait until Saturday to get them. The show is part of Citi's Private Pass concert program, but this still seems weird to me. What do you think?
