As I blow my nose every two minutes and sneeze every five, it is clear that spring is here. 60 degrees one day and 25 the next, we all are aware that spring is the most temperamental time of the year.

Spring also means the bears are waking up from their winter nap. I was always jealous of animals that hibernate, I mean, they get to take a little break from life, have a couple of month-long naps, and then wake up and act as nothing happened.

This cute bear looks like me when I wake up. A little clueless, hungry, and well...a bit like, "I guess it's time to get my life together". Now please remember, cute and furry does not mean approach. It does not mean, "OMG selfie time!".

When it comes to capturing Montana's beauty you have to check out Jordan's site. We all dream of being at the right place at the right time, and he nails it. Lots of hard work, lots of patience, and lots of practice.

Follow his Instagram and keep the support going for Montana photographers. They are part of the reason why Montana's beauty is known worldwide.

This is the time of year that we will start seeing an increasing amount of wildlife, so a few things to remember.

1. Slow down, some of these sneaky kings of nature have zero cares whether you will see them or not.

2. Hiking Safety. Most of us are itching to get out to the trails and enjoy the scenery and fresh air. A charged cell phone, letting people know where you will be hiking, and of course, bear spray, will all help with safe adventures.

3. Be smart. Do not approach. Don't end up on "ridiculous things caught on camera".

If you have any cool wildlife videos feel free to message them to the XL Country Facebook page. Happy Spring!
