Montana Has Two Really Creepy Abandoned Towns

Montana has a lot of history, especially when it comes to mining and the frontier.

According to Thrillist, we have two of the Most Eerily Abandoned Towns in America.

Thrillist says that Garnet and Virginia City, Montana are their choices because Garnet is made up of just buildings that no one has lived in since 1912 and it sank when half the town burned in a fire.

Virginia City though has a ton of frontier history with being the former capital of the Montana Territory and the home place of Calamity Jane. Plus, it has a pretty bloody history with outlaws. The town has been partially restored and is a great place to check out during the summer.
