Montana Renaissance Festival 2026: Everything You Need to Know
The Montana Renaissance Festival is set to return to Billings for an unforgettable weekend of knights, pirates, royalty, and immersive entertainment on June 6–7, 2026, at the MetraPark Fairgrounds.
As the largest and longest-running Renaissance festival in Montana and Wyoming, the event continues to grow year after year. In 2025, more than 20,000 attendees filled the grounds, and organizers are expecting an even bigger turnout in 2026.

From the moment gates open, the fairgrounds will transform into a bustling medieval world filled with costumed characters, roaming performers, and non-stop entertainment.

I'm not performing at the festival this year, but I may dress up and head over to Billings to check it out.
Visitors can experience everything from epic battles to royal ceremonies, with activities and shows happening across nine stages throughout the weekend. One of the festival’s biggest draws is the return of full-contact jousting by The Order of Epona, where armored knights charge into thrilling medieval competition.
No Renaissance festival is complete without a feast, and guests at the Montana Ren Fest can dine on turkey legs, hearty medieval-style meals, sweet treats, and tavern favorites fit for kings and queens.
New to the festival in 2026 is the Hope Falls Vaulting Club, showcasing incredible strength, balance, and horsemanship.
The Montana Renaissance Festival is scheduled for Saturday, June 6th from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 7th from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. at the MetraPark Fairgrounds in Billings.
