
Latest: High Elevations In Montana Could See Snow This Week
Temperatures are beginning to cool down across Montana this week, and higher elevations are expected to be dusted with snow over the weekend.
Above normal temperatures, rain showers and thunderstorms are possible to start the week, mostly across Southwest Montana and along the Continental Divide.
Snow Possible at High Elevations in Montana This Weekend
Towards the end of the week, there is an increasing chance of precipitation across the state, according the National Weather Service in Billings. As we head into the weekend, higher elevations could likely receive a light dusting of snow. Early predictions indicate around 2 inches.

A more dynamic and wetter weather system is forecasted for later in the week, and lower elevations throughout the state will likely see increased precipitation. The chance of rain is highest Wednesday through Sunday.
