MOOSE Listeners are the BEST (Cheese) People: Wisconsin to Bozeman

It's part of our job to give stuff to YOU, not the other way around. But when fresh cheese curds arrived at the station the other day direct from Wisconsin, we were floored. I mean, first of all...it's CHEESE.

We're always grateful for the long-lasting friendships we develop with MOOSE listeners. That certainly includes many folks who have simply visited the Bozeman area on vacation or visiting friends and families. They stumble upon 94.7 The MOOSE while they're here and then remain listeners when they get back home.

So back to the cheese delivery. My friend, John, lives in Wisconsin but has friends in the Gallatin Valley so he visits as often as he can. A delightful dude who checks in with me to say 'hi' every few months or to comment on some weird, deep track I played.

A few days ago, I think his buddy from Bozeman had returned from visiting HIM and poof! A bag of cheesy goodness was hand delivered to the station. What a lovely Wisconsin treat.

This ain't no ordinary cheese, by the way. It's fantastic and I not only have curds but TWO different blocks. Springside Artisan Cheese is award winning and I can see why. They were the 2019 U.S. Championship Cheese Contest Winner with their aged, traditional Waxed Cheddar.
