On National Hamburger Day, Bozeman Has Several Excellent Options
One of the most perfect foods on the planet Earth is without a doubt, the Hamburger. Just typing out the word "Hamburger" makes me want one. The history of the Hamburger is certainly an interesting one.
According to Parade, it all started in Hamburg, Germany back in the 19th Century.
The folks in Germany were using minced beef and mixing it with onions and seasonings and forming it into a "meat patty". Soon, some of those folks came to America, and during the Industrial Revolution food carts were serving those meat patties between bread for convenience and a culinary legend was born.
Bozeman has a ton of places to get a burger. From super fancy to super basic, you certainly have a whole lot of options if you want a hamburger here in town.
Personally, I'm a fan of Backcountry Burger Bar on Main in downtown Bozeman. The Calamity Jane Burger there is amazing and one of the best burgers I've ever had and I highly recommend getting one. There are several other places around Bozeman known for their burgers. Burger Bob's, University Burger, Bucchas Pub and Montana Ale Works are all extremely popular for their burgers and receive high reviews online.
Of course, this is only the tip of the iceberg, as most places have a burger on the menu.
Where do you think the best burger is in Bozeman? What makes it the best? What are your must-have toppings when it comes to burgers? If you put cheese on a hamburger is it still a hamburger?
No matter your choice, make sure you celebrate today in style, with a delicious burger.
