Montana is no stranger to natural and man-made disasters. We take a look at the 8 biggest in the state.

Our weekly check-in with this active area shows another eight small earthquakes in the last 24 hours. DOZENS of earthquakes have rattled central Idaho in recent weeks and although not rare, the number of quakes is far more than normal.

2 more small quakes rumbled near Challis, Idaho after dozens of others shook the area in the last couple of weeks.

Eight more small earthquakes (3.6 or less) have rattled a specific area in Idaho in the last 24 hours after over a dozen occurred this past weekend.

Just about every day in July there has been at least one small earthquake in southwest Montana. Some days have seen SEVERAL small tremors.

Two small earthquakes have rumbled in Montana so far today. The quakes occurred in Manhattan and near Townsend, Montana.

On Wednesday, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.0 was recorded in Manhattan.

Manhattan, a small town just west of Bozeman has experienced seven earthquakes measuring 2.5 or more on the Richter scale in the past 30 days.

On Tuesday morning, two earthquakes were reported near Manhattan, just west of Bozeman.

Early Wednesday morning around 5:53 a.m., a 2.9 magnitude earthquake was reported near Manhattan, Montana.

None of the earthquakes are terribly large, oh wait...There's one at magnitude 5.3. Several in the 2, 3, and 4 magnitude range but there's A TON OF THEM all tightly centered just east of Soda Springs, Idaho.
