Streets in town will probably melt off today but a few more inches in the higher elevations today around Helena, Bozeman and West Yellowstone should stick.

The Cabin Gulch Fire is actively burning in the Deep Creek Canyon area east of Townsend. It is currently estimated to be between 50-100 acres in size, and is moving in the Northeast direction toward Cabin Gulch Timber Sale units.
Although Bozeman and Helena are not supposed to receive more than 2 inches, the majority of western Montana is expecting up to 8 inches in high elevations.
