When the Bozeman Police Department released an initial statement this morning around 5am, there was no danger to the public and although possible gun shots had been heard, the situation was under control at a hotel on Nikles Drive.

It's been years in the making but The Lark in downtown Bozeman is finally celebrating it's Open House this Friday June 12th during the Downtown Art Walk. I for one can't wait to see all the details of this marvelously retro property.

I drive by this place everyday but not once in the 20 plus years I've been in Bozeman have I ever stepped foot inside. Problem solved with this handy promo video I found online! Let's take a tour, shall we?

There's been a lot of talk about the need for a decent hotel in downtown Bozeman. Hopefully with these new incentives, one might actually be built. Patience, grasshopper...
