Madison Valley

Storm Warnings and Weather Advisories are covering southwest Montana through Tuesday morning. Valleys may only see a couple of inches of fresh snow, while higher elevations may get up to 10 inches - making travel difficult at times.

You've at least driven right by it 100 times, as this RV campground is smack in the middle of Ennis, Montana. It's been for sale for just a few weeks according to Realtor.com but it's now listed as "Pending".

Well, I finally got the best of the best of all the pictures I took over Christmas weekend down in the Madison Valley. It really is one of my favorite places on earth. Before we moved to Montana, my family spent all summer there every year fly fishing with friends who had been living there for several years...

I'll save the "Oh how wonderful it was to spend time with family and friends" stuff for later but I WILL tell you this: I'm willing to bet a dollar that I saw more wildlife this past Christmas weekend than you. Or anyone else you know.
