Gusty winds are not helping the containment of a fire burning north of Manhattan in Horseshoe Hills.

The 10th season of the Manhattan Farmers Market comes to a close on Wednesday, September 9 in the Park on West Main in beautiful downtown Manhattan.

The Manhattan community is honoring spud growers with the annual Manhattan Potato Festival on Saturday, August 15. It will feature a fireman's breakfast, parade, arts and crafts vendors, food, live music, a car show, kids activities and more.
