The wildfire burning north of Manhattan is called the Cottonwood Gulch fire. Fire crews from all over the area worked through the night, with more resources on the way today. High winds yesterday made the fire very difficult to contain.

Fire crews from all over Gallatin County and surrounding areas have been working tirelessly on what is now known as the Cottonwood Gulch Fire.  High winds on Sunday caused the human caused fire to grow substantially.

Gusty winds are not helping the containment of a fire burning north of Manhattan in Horseshoe Hills.

The 10th season of the Manhattan Farmers Market comes to a close on Wednesday, September 9 in the Park on West Main in beautiful downtown Manhattan.

The Manhattan community is honoring spud growers with the annual Manhattan Potato Festival on Saturday, August 15. It will feature a fireman's breakfast, parade, arts and crafts vendors, food, live music, a car show, kids activities and more.

Alpacas don't like to be messed with, and at Spanish Peaks Alpacas in Manhattan, MT they've got an alpaca named Chuck Norris. Which is kind of awesome. Even in Alpaca form, Chuck Norris reigns supreme.
