Since Mother Nature hasn't figured out that it's supposed to be winter, we might as well get out and enjoy the trails!

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks must cut its wolf trapping season back to six weeks across the western two-thirds of the state.

You'll have to do a lot more work these days to get the hell away from other people in Montana, but IT IS still possible. We just have to adjust our destinations and find legal lands or State Parks that aren't at the top of everyone's list.

Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks are asking anyone who discovers snapping turtles in Western Montana to report them.

Some birds in Montana have been tested recently and found to be infected with Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza, which has been confirmed in central and western states, including Montana.
