With Sweet Pea Festival week upon us, thousands gathered in downtown Bozeman for the 2016 Bite of Bozeman and we were there snacking our way down Main Street!
A junior from Bozeman High School is the grand prize winner of the 8th Annual Sweet Pea Festival T-Shirt Contest.
The design is simply impressive. According to a press release, Madi Lapp wanted to a design that incorporates Bozeman with the festival, and she nailed it...
Chalk on the Walk is the unofficial kickoff for Sweet Pea Festival.
Kids and adults filled the sidewalks along Bozeman's Main Street this morning to decorate the downtown. Check out their handiwork here:

The 36th annual Sweet Pea Festival is this weekend and Main Street is once again decorated in fine chalk art! I was able to get some photos of this year's "Chalk on the Walk". I was impressed, not only by the art but by the diverse expressions laid out, ranging from love to oppression to the legalization of marijuana. You gotta love Bozeman! Check out the photos here:
