Time is running out to apply for TEDxBozeman, Montana's first and longest-running TEDx event. Applications for speakers and performers for their 5th annual event, to be held on April 9, 2016, can be submitted online through Friday, Nov. 20.

Interested applicants are encouraged to visit tedxbozeman.com to apply and learn more about the event. Videos of prior speakers and performers are available on the TEDxBozeman YouTube channel. This will give you an idea of the diverse range of topics and individuals featured in past years.

Now celebrating the event's fifth year, the TEDxBozeman team looks to pay tribute to all the past volunteers, presenters, and audience members whose participation has been integral in the event's evolution and success. This convergence of teamwork, ideas, and community helped inspire the TEDxBozeman 2016 theme of "Confluence." The concept evokes ribbons of time, innovation, and discovery which merge together and create what TED coined "Ideas Worth Spreading."

This event welcomes presenters from all walks of life, including academics, artists, business people, musicians, and students. Anyone with a tie to Montana, past or present, is encouraged to apply. The selection process is competitive and less than two dozen applicants are selected each year.

Speakers for TEDxBozeman 2016 will be announced Dec. 4 on the event's website. Tickets for the upcoming event will go on sale early next year. For additional information, visit tedxbozeman.com, follow TEDxBozeman on its social media channels, or contact Brooke Leugers at info@tedxbozeman.com.
