Rodeo fans are undoubtedly happy to hear that events like these are finally starting to return to something resembling normal.

The University of Montana Spring Rodeo will be returning, Friday and Saturday, April 30 and May 1st.  Performances start at 7:00 PM both evenings at the Missoula Fairgrounds.

The rodeo team submitted a COVID-19 Event Plan that was approved for College Rodeo.  As you might anticipate, there are still limited seating guidelines for approximately 500 socially-distanced seats. Tickets must be purchased in advanced through the Missoula Fairgrounds website, available here. All seating is social distanced, and no tickets will be sold at the event.  All seats are $10. Tickets are sold in blocks ranging from two up to six tickets.

Face coverings are required for all fans age 5m and older, except while you are eating or drinking. Speaking of which, there will be concessions.

The University of Montana rodeo team and seven other teams in the Big Sky Conference promise to put on a great show with lots of fired up bucking stock, calves, steers, bulls, goats, barrels and rodeo athletes to keep you entertained.

Just a few more of those COVID guidelines you might want to know about:

>To enter the grandstands, everyone in your group must enter at the same time as the designated ticket holder. Individuals who are part of a group cannot enter separately.

>Please go directly to your assigned seat and remain seated until 7:30 p.m. as a courtesy to other attendees. Re-entry is permitted with a lanyard provided by security at the gate.

Lots of rules, restrictions and regulations, we know. But at least you get to go to the rodeo!
