Two men who were involved in a road rage incident on Huffine Lane Tuesday morning that ended in gunshots have been cited for disorderly conduct.

At around 8:22 a.m., Gallatin County sheriff’s deputies were called to a report of a fight and gunshots in the parking lot of the Korner Klub at Four Corners, west of Bozeman.

One man produced a gun and fired shots, according to a release from the sheriff’s office. Deputies responded quickly and both men were detained. One man was taken to the hospital to be treated for a laceration above his eye from the fight. No one was injured as a result of gunshots.

The sheriff’s office provided an update on the incident Wednesday afternoon, explaining that both men were cited for disorderly conduct. The news release also included a note from Sheriff Brian Gootkin, reminding anyone who may be involved in a road rage incident to pull your vehicle to the side of road, obtain description on the suspect vehicle, and call 911.
