Ween Reschedules Missoula Concert For 2022
Things have been looking up for the summer concert season this year, especially compared to where things were last year. We've got shows being announced, planned concerts given the go-ahead by the county, festivals selling out - it's a far cry from where we were in 2020. But still, we're not going to be exactly where we were before COVID hit, and a few more things are unfortunately going to be moved and rescheduled for a wide variety of reasons, even while other shows are happening.
That's why artists like My Chemical Romance or Rage Against The Machine pushed their tours until next year, and it's why Green Day, Weezer, and Fall Out Boy just postponed the UK dates for the Hella Mega Tour. Hopefully these kind of cancellations and postponements won't affect Missoula TOO much, but we do have word that at least one local show is not going to be happening this year.
Ween was scheduled to play at Big Sky Brewing in the summer of 2020 - and obviously, that didn't happen. The show was rescheduled for the summer of 2021... but now, according to their website, that concert has instead been pushed to June 29th, 2022.
It looks like Ween had to postpone all of their June and July concert dates for this year; that's definitely a bummer because it looks like they're playing shows from August onward, so we JUST missed the cutoff. But at least they're still planning on making their return to Missoula. It's just going to take a little bit longer than we expected.
