The iPhone's iOS6 upgrade has brought Siri closer to sentience. At least when it comes to movies; the "personal assistant" now evidently feels sympathy towards some of its misunderstood cinematic counterparts. Want to know Siri's take on 'Blade Runner'? It could make you look at it in a whole new light.
America loves the thought of a South Korean smarty-pants but Samsung did NOT pay their billion dollar judgement to Apple in nickels. But how awesome would that be?
The new iPad has landed! You can preorder Apple’s third iPad installment today, and if you do it sounds like you’ll get a serious upgrade. It boasts a super-sharp pixel Retina display, a new camera (with more megapixels), 1080p video recording capability, a much faster processor, more graphic performance, and more memory…oh and it’s 4G ready.
Apple Inc's latest iPhone 4S, with voice-activated technology, was introduced to China today with great anticipation. Hundreds of people who couldn't wait to get their hands on the new phone were lined up outside Apple's flagship Beijing store before it opened, but fears of chaos caused the store to cancel sales. Apparently, some people in line were armed with eggs and let the store have it.

Apple’s voice-recognition technology, Siri, has been lauded for its groundbreaking ability to understand natural human language rather than just simple commands. In the past, most people have used it for various mundane activities — finding the nearest sushi restaurant or theater showtimes for a movie, for example.
In its most recent incarnation, you can even ask it questions (“Will it rain today?”) and it’ll use GPS to spit out an accurate answer. But some creative folks have tested Siri’s abilities on the new iPhone 4S with rather amusing results.
Apple’s highly-anticipated ‘Let’s Talk iPhone’ event on Tuesday began with newly-installed CEO Tim Cook reflecting on some of the company’s successes, as well as one new one: the new iPhone.
Dubbed the iPhone 4S, the gadget keeps with the company’s tradition of introducing completely new models every other year, with upgrades in between.
In a replay from an incident last year, another Apple employee lost another iPhone prototype in yet another Bay Area bar. If this keeps up, they’re going to start surgically implanting new phones into developers’ arms.
