A hunter from Washington was attacked by a grizzly bear in northwest Montana on Tuesday.

A number of Region 3 fishing access sites are experiencing flooding with ice barriers forcing water to flow into these sites. The following FAS are currently closed:

General deer and elk season is set to begin this Saturday, October 26 and Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is reminding hunters that state law requires they stop at all game check stations while traveling to and from hunting areas. This includes hunters who have not harvested an animal.
