A man who reportedly jumped into Bozeman Creek very early Friday morning is safe and sound. He called the police to let them know he was fine. The man jumped in to fetch a flip-flop.
The Bozeman Police, along with Gallatin County Search & Rescue searched a lengthy stretch of the creek with no sign of the man IN the creek, OR evidence of where he may have exited. the creek.

When the Bozeman Police Department released an initial statement this morning around 5am, there was no danger to the public and although possible gun shots had been heard, the situation was under control at a hotel on Nikles Drive.
