If any rock band is poised to make a big impact at the 2016 Grammys, it sounds like it’s likely going to be Alabama Shakes. The Brittany Howard-led outfit are among the most nominated acts that were revealed for the February awards on Monday morning.

Alabama Shakes received four nominations for their sophomore album Sound & Color including 'Album of the Year' alongside the Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar and Chris Stapleton, but they'll all face the difficult task of taking on Taylor Swift and her mammoth 1989.

The Shakes are also nominated for 'Best Rock Song' for "Don't Wanna Fight"; 'Best Alternative Music Album' with Bjork, My Morning Jacket, Tame Impala and Wilco; and 'Best Rock Peformance' against Foo Fighters and Florence + the Machine.

'Best Rock Album' nominees include Muse and Death Cab for Cutie, while Australian singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett was nominated for 'Best New Artist.'

The Grammys will take place Feb. 15 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
