"It Ain't Over 'Til the FIT Lady Sings" at the annual Opera Run on Saturday, October 3 in the Lindley Park Pavilion. It's exercise and great fun with either a Kid's Run, 5k, or 10-miler, while being serenaded by professional Opera singers at 10 different water stations. This race celebrates the Intermountain Opera Bozeman production of Donizetti's "Don Pasquale," with performances on October 9 and 11.

Running events:

The 10-mile "Don Pasquale" Run - begins promptly at 9 a.m.

Kid's "Ernesto" Run - begins at 9:05 a.m.

The 5k "Norina" Run - (less serious - walkers, strollers, dogs on leash welcome) - begins at 9:30 a.m.

The run will start and finish at the Lindley Park Pavilion on East Main Street. Arrive early to register between 8 - 9 a.m., or pre-register through the Intermountain Opera office at 104 East Main Street, by calling 406-587-2889, or online at racemontana.com.

Winners (along with a few lucky finishers) receive a famed bejeweled Viking Crown with braids. All kids participating in the Kid's Run will receive a decorated kid's Viking helmet. The Awards Ceremony including random drawings for gear, gift certificates, Opera tickets, and a guaranteed entry into the Ridge Run will follow all running events at 11 a.m.
