This Friday (Jan. 20), Prophets of Rage -- the supergroup formed by three members of Rage Against the Machine, Chuck D of Public Enemy and B-Real of Cypress Hill -- will throw what they're calling an "Anti-Inaugural Ball" at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles. In addition to the headliners, the show will feature Jackson Browne, Vic Mensa, Jack Black, the Los Angeles Freedom Choir and, performing their first set together since 2005, Audioslave.

"The Anti-Inaugural Ball is a celebration of resistance," Prophets of Rage guitarist Tom Morello said in a press release. "Resistance to racism. Resistance to sexism. Resistance to homophobia. Resistance to bullying. Resistance to environmental devastation. Resistance to fascism. Resistance to Donald Trump. We are staring down the barrel of a dystopian nightmare unless we act NOW, unless we fight back NOW. We intend to create 'No Trump Zones' across the country; in our homes, our schools, our places of work, and our concert stages. Bad Presidents make for great music. Join us as we get loud and stand together to defend our rights, our country, and our planet."

After three albums between 2002 and 2006, Audioslave, which featured the same three musicians from Rage Against the Machine with Soundgarden's Chris Cornell on vocals, broke up as a result of personality and musical differences. Back in July, drummer Brad Wilk suggested that things had cleared between them and hinted at the possibility of a future reunion. "[T]he possibility of us making music together with Chris is always there," he said. "I don’t think anyone has any bad feelings towards each other in that band. I think that band had a really good run, and I think that it was time for us to move on."

Tickets went on sale earlier today and sold out instantly. However, Prophets of Rage will be streaming the show on their Facebook page, with the concert beginning at 9PM Pacific. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN).
