The Bozeman Film Society kicked off their 2014/2015 season of top-rated indie films at The Emerson Theater. We think you indie-rock fans are truly going to enjoy the film on Thursday, September 25. Don't miss the 7:30 pm screening of Frank.

Acclaimed Irish director Lenny Abrahamson follows up his award-winning films Adam & Paul, Garage, and What Richard Did with an offbeat comedy about a young wannabe musician, Jon (Domhnall Gleeson), who finds himself out of his depth when he joins an avant-garde pop band led by the mysterious and enigmatic Frank (Michael Fassbender), a musical genius who hides himself inside a large fake head, and his terrifying bandmate Clara (Maggie Gyllenhaal).

The BoZone said Frank is "an insightful story about art, genius, idolatry, and the sinister allure of fame, all set against the backdrop of today's indie-rock scene." This film is Rated R with a 92% 'Rotten Tomato' score. Check out the official trailer:

Ticket sales and a no-host social with The Zebra Lounge begin in the Emerson lobby one hour before the film screening. General tickets are $8 and $7 for students and seniors. Tickets are also available at Cactus Records. For more information, visit bozemanfilmsociety.org.
