Bozeman Folks Carry Guns. Just Sayin’

IMPORTANT: The following information was gathered on a completely informal, unscientific basis in downtown Bozeman in October 2014. We talked to 200 people on the street with one question:

"Do you carry a firearm on your person in a non-hunting setting?

We went into downtown Bozeman in radio station gear with nothing more than a legal pad.

There were NO cameras, recording devices or any other ways to identify people that we spoke with and we did not ask any further questions.

We did not discuss political views. We did not ask about conceal and carry permits.

Of the 200 total people that were willing to respond Yes or No to our simple question, 13 people answered "Yes". That means that (from this TOTALLY INFORMAL AND UNSCIENTIFIC POLL), 6.5% carry a firearm.
